I was diagnosed with breast cancer a week after my 48th birthday. I started writing a blog to process all my emotions during my treatment, which then evolved into But Seriously, Who Knew?

I'm married to Graham (Big G) and have 'all grown up' children, Lauren and Kieron, and I'm also step-mum to Kirstie. I have worn many career hats including banker and hairdresser, and after completing a degree in Psychology at the age of 46, I worked as a team leader in the Additional Learning Support department at a college for young adults. I'm now retired, at the age of 52, and travelling as much as possible with Big G, whilst continuing to write - so maybe not retired after all!
